We are a group of citizens gathering together to ban SGARs in our community.

Gwen Shipley and Meaghan Sinclair are ecologically minded residents of Concord, MA who hope to ban the use of SGARs in our community.

Our goal is pass a Home Rule petition with consensus at the June 2025 Town Meeting that will lead to the eventual ban of SGARs in all of Concord.

We join many other towns in this effort including Arlington, Lexington, Newbury, Newton, and Plymouth. Through this campaign we hope to make Concord a safer place for both animals and people.
